Through Soo-rim's careful selection of flowers to gift to her lover, her heart spills over beyond the screen. Adding intricately folded paper flowers and a cake prepared for celebration, Soo-rim harbors hopes of longevity together. However, despite the flowers' message of "love that never changes," there seems to be a subtle divergence in what each desires, leaving them unsure. Soo-rim's first love is stored not as a warmth of midday, but rather as unfamiliar and chilly memories. 애인에게 선물할 꽃을 신중히 고르는 수림의 마음이 화면 너머로 새어 나온다. 고이 접은 종이꽃을 더해 전역 축하를 위해 마련한 케이크까지, 수림은 그와 오래도록 함께하는 희망을 품는다. 그러나 리시안셔스의 꽃말, “영원히 변치 않는 사랑”과는 다른 온도로 왠지 모르게 서로가 원하는 것들이 자꾸만 엇갈린다. 수림의 첫 연애는 한낮의 따스함이 아닌 낯설고 서늘한 기억으로 저장된다. 영화는 큰 사건 없이도 관계의 균열 사이로 스며드는 변화들을 세밀하게 그려냈다. (전주국제영화제 강진아)
